I’ve realized a couple things about myself in the last few hours.
For starters, I have
zero tolerance for people using my wireless network without my permission.
I always figured that I would be like, “Meh.
So long as they don’t mess anything up”, but when it came down to it that’s not how I reacted at all.
I was poking through my router’s configuration pages when I noticed that there were not one, but two wireless computers connected.
I kid you not, I said “Awww hell no” out loud.
I turned on the security features and banned their MAC address.
Nobody uses my internet connection but
me.
Nobody. I
never thought I would have to worry about other wireless traffic out here in the boondocks, but I guess I was wrong.
Turn on your wireless security, folks, even if you live in the middle of nowhere.
The other thing that struck me is that I’m just as vulnerable to being addicted to World of Warcraft as all of the people I laugh at at school.
I just got it ready to play this morning and I’ve been playing all day.
Well, not
all day, but close.
I would write more on the topic, but the internet ill needs another blog post about how much someone likes World of Warcraft.
Just know that I like it a lot and would recommend it to anybody who likes RPGs, even a little bit.
Yesterday was my 18
th birthday, as my previous entry dictates.
If anyone out there wanted to get me a little something but didn’t get the chance, you can get me Flickr Pro account.
That would be nice.
I’ve already burned through all my bandwidth for this
month, and I’m sure there are going to be pictures taken at the LAN party I’ve planned to happen sometime with extended weekend.
Maybe today, maybe tomorrow.
Anyway, a Flickr Pro account would be really grand. If you have a Flickr account, Pro or not, you can grab me a Pro account
here. (use "tuxedo_panguan" as my screen name) I've got a bunch of pictures already that I can't share because I've out of bandwidth on my free account. I'll probably end up buying a Pro account for myself sometime in the future if nobody steps up. I might even try and draw some funds from my LAN buddies, as it's mostly their pictures I upload. It's a lot of fun to be able to look back through them.
That's all for this entry. I'm tired for playing WoW all day. I need to go to sleep so I have energy to play all day tomorrow. Ha ha ha ha....really.
