One short burst...

This weekend didn't last as long as I would have liked. The LAN ate up all of Friday and Saturday. It didn't actually go on for both days, but the last second planning ate up Friday and I spent most of Saturday sleeping off my soft-drink hangover. I'm telling you, eight cans of cola will make your head hurt for real.

Next week will go by just as fast, hopefully. Wednesday is my birthday. That gives me something to look forward to. I'm getting a bitchin' wireless mouse for my computer. The thing is going to have like twenty buttons and seven scroll wheels. It couldn't have come at a better time, either. With the weekly LAN parties attracting lots and lots of people, we'll always have folks willing to come on over and LAN. My mega-mouse will give me an edge. Not that I don't already pwn...

I'm also getting World of Warcraft, an item that I'm sure will either make you think, "Cool. I'll see you in-game", or, "Yuck." A lot of the people that come to the LANs play WoW, so it'll give us yet another nerdy topic to converse on. There really isn't much else to say about the game proper. I haven't played it, or even watched anyone play it for any great deal of time. I'm getting in on blind faith, really. I'm not worried, though, as several people I trust to have good opinions of games play and love it.

My mom got a new car. A silver Honda Civic. Not much to describe, as I'm sure you've all seen a Honda Civic before. Although it hasn't been said outright, the Cougar is pretty much mine. I don't have a license or job yet, though, so don't expect to see me rolling in it just yet.

I really, really hope that this school week goes by fast. I mean, it's only two and a half days. It can't take that long...
