Now
School starts again after tomorrow, so I figured I might as well sit down and run down my thoughts on each of the classes I have this semester.
I had a long conversation about how I was going to get into some classes out at the college for things like Visual Basic and Java, but none of that actually happened. I'm not sure why I wasn't informed that the three or so days of planning I went through were all for nothing, but I'm also not sure that it even matters, so I won't bother asking about it. The classes I did get are a mixed bag of goodies. I got almost every class I asked for, aside from some obscure computer classes that I'm sure were to small to justify teaching. Here's the rundown:
1. Creative Writing
I've taken Creative Writing twice already, so this'll be my third time through the class. It's a great class, too. I enjoy writing a great deal, and enjoy the things we get to do and hear/see during the experience. It's also my first period class for the second semester in a row, so it'll be nice to have an easy start to the day.
2. Honors E-Comm. I
E-comm is really just Computer Apps III, so it's nothing I haven't done before. I probably won't be taught anything I don't already know, which is good. It'll give me time to screw around during the day. Not because I won't do my work, but because I'll have it finished quickly. It happened in every other computer class I've taken thus far. Another easy class.
3. Honors Latin III
I like Latin the class, and I'm interested in Latin the language, but I'm not mind freeingly good at either. I'm not sure how I ended up in Latin III, but I won't fight it. I've always had a good time in Latin class, and Mr. Diaz does his best to make sure it isn't boring or mundane, so I think I'll manage. On top of this I'll have Levi and Jacob with me to back me up should the going get rough. Jared says that so long as you like Latin class Latin III should be easy. I did good (B and C, I think) on my last two Latin classes, so I'm confidant that it won't be too hard to enjoy. A good class overall, I assume.
4. Honors English IV
This is the black blotch on this year's lineup. I know it's unavoidable, but I still whine about it. English class? I speak English. I know all about it, trust me. There isn't much to say about it, as everyone has to take it. I've gone through the "honors" version of every other English class at ECHS, so why not complete the set? I'm just glad it isn't with Mrs. Sherman...*shudder*
