Philanthropy
Jared keep just sort of giving me things. He left his wireless router over here when he left. I'm telling you, if he keeps this string of donations to the Panguan Fund up he could very well be eligible for tax deductions. I'm not sure if he left it here because he didn't want to haul it back to his house, or because he doesn't want it period. Either would be fine. I should invest in an 802.11b card (think wireless internet) in any case. Even if he takes the router back, it would come in mad handy to just be able to bring my computer over to Jared's house and have it work without tracking big-ass LAN cables all over the damn place; or when he brings it over here for our LAN events, I wouldn't have to track said cable through my living room.
Of course, he could just leave it here permanently, have all of the above be true, and I get wireless internet in my room. That would be nice. If he decides otherwise I wouldn't exactly have very much leverage to sway him otherwise. The monitor, keyboard, and computer I'm typing this on are all his, it isn't as though he's never done anything for me.
