Oh, the possibilities
The night is young, and I'll be sitting in front of an internet-enabled computer for the rest of it. I recently found a site called "The Free Shell Project". The site offers free shell services to the public. For those of you unfamiliar with computer lingo, having a "shell" on a remote computer is like sitting in front of that computer-you can use it for pretty much anything you want. They offer the service so that the public can "learn the best operating system ever made." (They're talking about Unix, in case you're interested) I already know how to use Unix/Linux, so I'm set. I'll be honest with you, these people don't offer the service so people can learn Unix, they offer it so that people already well versed can use an anonymous shell to hack any computer they want without fear of getting caught.
You can use one of HBX's shells to hack a computer, and even if the system admin spots you and catches your IP, he won't be able to find out who you are because it will trace back to a computer system that hundreds of people use everyday. You're free and clear, no matter how many amateur mistakes you make.
I've got a funny feeling that my nights at the computer are going to get a whole lot more interesting.
